Whirlwind tour of Los Angeles!

StarJam Founder and General Manager Julie Bartlett has just returned to NZ following a whirlwind two weeks in Los Angeles. Her mission, to secure at least one international celebrity to star in the StarJam Stage Show here in Auckland at the Aotea Centre on Sunday 31 October 2004.

Setting up base at the Hyatt in West Hollywood, Julie, with StarJam’s USA representative Susan Heffner, made over 100 phone calls and had eight face to face meetings with key representatives of the celebrities on their hit list.

Julie says, “I am so grateful to Susan. Without her it would have been impossible to achieve so much in such a short space in time”. As well as making her share of phone calls and accompanying Julie at meetings, Susan drove Julie everywhere. This included a lunch meeting at Paramount Film Studios and another that required a quick trip to Palm Springs.

As StarJam’s USA representative, Susan will continue to be busy in the next little while doing all the necessary follow-up work generated from Julie’s visit tom LA.
