‘Stars Thru Their Eyes’ 2005; Great ‘gig’ for great organisation; Dancing fun at August StarJam meeting

Ring the diary for StarJam’s next unforgettable event on Saturday December 3rd

T’da …. Announcing……… intriguing interviews, magnificent music, daring dance and much more…….. at StarJam’s 2005 “Stars Thru Their Eyes ” on December 3rd .

There will be a big line up of stars for this show. We can’t let all the cats out of the bag right now but can leak out two from the starry lineup. Above we have Lily Harper and Chris Brown, and below we have them both in action. If you’re quick you’ll spot Lily in the dance lineup right behind Suzanne Lynch (who’s singing and pointing at Natalie)….. and Chris Brown who together with his violin and a host of other musicians, romanced the audience at the StarJam Stage Show in May. He will spoil us again on December 3rd

Lily Harper will be one of our interviewers and is mad about New Zealand Idol. Let’s see who she chooses to interview. More details to come – Watch out for the next StarJam news. Ticket sales open on Monday 3rd October. - Sorry limited seats.

Great ‘Gig’ for great organisation

We receive many requests to perform. Unfortunately we are not able to accept them all, but we were glad to be able to provide some great entertainment at PolyEmp’s Annual General Meeting on 9 th August at Unitech, NZ. PolyEmp assists young adults with intellectual disabilities to find employment and supports them in their work. Natalie Brunzel and Moana Mani, a pair of song birds, treated the audience. Bob Fleming, one of StarJam’s musical volunteers, accompanied them
on guitar. Quite a trio!

Dancing fun at August StarJam meeting

Mary Jane O’Reilly is coming to this month’s StarJam meeting to lead us on a dancing adventure. There’ll be some easy peasy moves for even those dedicated non dancers and then we’ll enjoy some reminiscing. She will rerun some of the routines that lots of the Jammers already know.

These StarJam newsletters comes to you each month, just prior to the regular last Saturday of the month StarJam meeting. All are welcome to come. For our readers in far flung places, we wish we could send a magic carpet that would fly you here to join us. We are ever grateful for all your support.

Warm regards

Julie & Roy Bartlett
