Five Jammers headed to USA in April 2006, to spread the StarJam message and meet some fantastic celebrities. Olivia interviewed Melanie Lynskey and Sean Astin, Isaac met Alan Dale, Renee interviewed Julie Andrews, Jono interviewed Michael Bolton and Ese interviewed Kenny Loggins. The whole team was invited to perform for Govrnor Arnold Schwarzenegger in Sacramento, which was a highlight of the trip. The trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for not only the Jammers but for the entire team.

Following on from the successful trip in April 2006, StarJam was invigted to attend the Starkey Hearing Foundation's "So The World May Hear" Gala the following month. Jammers Jono and Daniel went to Minneapolis and Jono performed a song he wrote especially for the organization. Jono was invited to perform at the Gala, in a lineup including Jay Leno, Dionne Warwick and John Mellencamp. Jono stole the show and received a standing ovation after his performance!

StarJam's first 'Jamming' trip to the USA took place in June 2004. The highly-exicted group of Jammers included Daniel Gourlay and Red Nicholson. Daniel met Danny DeVito and found out what it was like to be short and bald, while Red met Dick van Dyke and learnt about the 'glory days' of Hollywood. It was a highly memorable trip.

StarJam's monthly gatherings take place on the last Saturday each month. At present the meetings take place at Western Springs Garden Communicty Hall, which can hold up to 200 people. The gatherings are an opportunity for friends to get together, catch up on the latest news and get on stage and jam. Celebrities often come along to join in the party.
