Monthly comunity gatherings are held on the last Saturday of each month (except December) at the Western Springs Garden Community Centre, 956-990 G­reat North Road, Pt Chevalier, from 3pm to 5pm.  They are a great chance for the StarJam community to get together and have a jamming party!  They are also provide a welcoming environment for new people interested in becoming Jammers -everyone is welcome!

Who comes to the gatherings?

• young people who have performed in StarJam events and Jammers who attend CoolJam workshops
• young people who wish to perform in future StarJam events or are interested in joining a CoolJam workshop
• parents, siblings, carers, teachers and supporters of young people
• StarJam tutors and volunteers, present and future

What happens at the gatherings?

• coaching and mentoring for young people by celebrities, dance tutors and other young people who have performed ‘on stage’
• entertainment from the Jammers
• musical ‘Jams’ for everybody who wants to join in
• fun, feasting, chats and laughter
