- Rt Hon Helen Clark,I was invited to perform a cameo role in a StarJam production. I was astounded by the energy and quality of the children’s performances and moved by the whole occasion
Former Prime Minister become a fan
Dean Morath
Dean Morath (1979 - 2009) was an extremely enthusiastic jammer and is sorely missed by all.
One of his many talents was promotional nous. When StarJam released ‘Queen of Hearts’, DJ visited shops to ensure they had plenty in stock. He also had a real knack of making moving spontaneous speeches that would always get the crowd behind the StarJam cause. His best friend Daniel (a fellow jambassador and Starjam Staffer) has this to say...
“I remember him as a great friend to me and I miss him every day. All the years and the shows I have been in with him. It was lovely to meet him and his family who are lovely. I never had a best friend forever before DJ, but he was there for me always. I think of him everyday and I well not forget him... love from your best mate.” - Daniel
