Here is an explanaion of some of StarJam’s commonly-used terms

Jambassador
The title of ‘Jambassador’ is given to someone who has gone the extra extra mile in support our Jammers, and that includes some Jammers themselves.  Current StarJam Jambassadors are:  Daniel Gourlay, DJ (Dean) Morath, John Hawkesby, Jonathan Heaps and Ray Woolf.

Jammed
When people have been inspired by the StarJam experience we say that they have been ‘jammed’.

Jammers
Name given to the young people who participate in StarJam meetings, events, gigs and productions.

Talent Expansion Programme/CoolJam Workshops
The Talent Expansion Programme is a programme of weekly performance workshops (called ‘CoolJam Workshops’) that take place across Auckland and in Whangarei.  Current workshops include hip hop dancing, singing, guitar and drums.
